The social welfare major is a practical study to promote the welfare of individuals and society as a whole. It aims at improving the quality of human life in the fields of society, economy and culture as well as meeting basic needs of individuals. Based on the analysis of human and social phenomenon, it includes various areas and activities of national and private sectors to alleviate and solve social problems.

Major in Counseling Psychology

Psychology is a scientific study of human psychological processes such as cognition, emotion and behavior. Psychology knowledge in modern society is applied to various fields ranging from humanities to natural sciences, engineering and arts. Counseling psychology is one of the fields of applied psychology that fosters professionalism to prevent and intervene in various social and environmental issues as well as individual psychological problems. Our curriculum includes not only theory and practice courses in counseling and clinical psychology but also psychology courses focusing on developmental psychology and basic areas of human behaviors such as cognition, society and learning psychology.
