If we have strength enough to beg for alms, that is by the grace of the Lord.
The world that Kkottongnae dreams of is one where not a single soul is forsaken, where every soul is revered as we revere God, and where we love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Kkottongnae University was established with the aim of developing the intellectual skills and emotional sensibilities given to us by God, and thus cultivating talented persons who combine the spiritual virtue of divine love and the human virtue of love for all humanity.
We take as our maxims “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge” in Proverbs 1:7 and the saying of Jesus that to serve the least advantaged of our fellow human beings is to serve Him, and our purpose is to improve the welfare of our society and the entire human race.
In these uncertain times when life goals and educational aims have lost their moorings, Kkottongnae University has been serving as a beacon for true education. Here we are devoted entirely to the nurture of love-in-action: the cultivation of welfare specialists who are well-rounded in both spiritual and human virtues, finely honed in matters both of the heart and of the intellect, and are able to practice true love for all humankind.
